THE READERS WIFES ANNOUNCE LIVE DATES TO SUPPORT SINGLE
To promote the launch of the single ‘Scumpop’ The Wifes will be taking to the road in January 2005 for some live performances and PA’s in the black heart of London’s club land.

There will be two very special dates with the Wifes taking over Madame Jo Jos in Soho to perform a live set of around 8 songs – these nights will be in the theme of a good old rock’n’roll circus with top guest DJs to set the scene. Tickets will go on sale in early December for these two dates (watch this space for details):

Madame Jo Jo’s – Thursday 20 January
Madame Jo Jo’s – Thursday 10 February

Two club PA’s have been confirmed so far, with more to follow:

Nag Nag Nag – Wednesday 26 January
The Cock – Friday 4 February

We will let you know the other dates as soon as they have been confirmed.

ANNOUNCEMENT! WIFES TO WORK WITH STEVEN SEVERIN
We've been *bursting* to announce this for a couple of months but it's
finally official! The Wifes are - from now on - to be executively produced
as well as business guided by none other than legendary Banshees bassist, top-notch record producer, thoroughgoing punk icon and all-round lovely chap Mr. Steven Severin. The fact that we're about to work with one of our favourite popstars and musicians of - yes - ALL-TIME has, literally, been the jewel in the crown of a terrific Wifes year to date.

The first momentous step happens when we walk hand-in-hand into Wolf
Studios in Brixton next week to rework Scumpop. Watch this space for more news.
