In their quest to create the perfect combination of Glitter Band stomp and Pet Shops Electro, Readers Wifes return with this stadium slaying follow up to their March 2003 sell-out single ‘Bitch At The Brits’. Scumpop is released on 7 February on the band’s own label, BearCage Recordings and has been executively produced by legendary founder Banshee Steven Severin.

A riot of incisive lyrics and hook after hook after hook, Scumpop has already won a host of fans through live performances and club exposure over the last few months. Black Silk Stocking is darker and provides a more raunchy rock’n’roll foil to the lead track. The CD is completed with a smooth electronic remix of Bitch At The Brits, the aptly titled ElectroBrits.
