Radio Free Europe
Concept, design, branding and implementation
Radio Free Europe was the solo music project of London-based Jeff Pollard. Jeff wanted a website giving basic information on his project to promote his work to record labels.
After working on a few different ideas, I decided to build on the cinematic aspect of most of Jeff’s music by adopting a ‘CinemaScope’ format and sombre colour tones, on which I placed a mock record cover, front and back, to display the navigation and content, and a vinyl record to display the tracks samples.
Jeff later joined acoustic band Kelly’s Heroes and abandoned Radio Free Europe.
